The Canadian state-owned channel CBC has broadcast news praising the PKK’s terrorist women, although the latter is on the Canadian list of terrorist organizations.
A photographer residing in Montreal traveled to Qandil, Iraq, and took photographs of women terrorists in the camps, and the channel broadcast these photographs. According to the news, the photographer spent several days in the terrorist training camp in Qandil.
The CBC has nevertheless indicated in its report that the PKK has been recognized as a terrorist organization by the Canadian state since December 10, 2002.
Turkish Ambassador to Ottawa Selcuk Unal said he had taken the necessary steps with the authorities in connection with the news broadcast’s praising terrorism and the terrorist organization.
